Artist’s Note: Connor Ryan
This illustration is based off a sculpture by Alexandra Morosco, a friend and mentor to me. It’s a reworking of her bronze piece “Currach’s Last Wave”. I was immediately drawn to it by the graphic nature of the almost fully circular wave. Morgan saw a sketch of the sculpture I’d made working on a commission with Alexandra and thought the symbolism perfectly matched the story of Return.
